We attend IEPs for current clients at the parents' request. Some parents want us there to present our observations and progress to the school staff, and some parents want us there as a support system. Attendance at IEPs usually requires us to cancel other clients, so we ask that you give us at least three weeks notice if you are requesting our presence at an IEP or similar meeting.
Attendance at IEPs is billed at our hourly rate plus a travel fee.
COORDINATION WITH TEACHERS & OTHER THERAPISTS
We are happy to coordinate with your child's classroom teacher or other therapists (school or private). Short phone calls or emails of 10-15 minutes are not billed. Longer communications are billed at our hourly rate.
